Labels

OrbStack uses Docker labels for extra configuration on containers, Compose projects, and volumes.

Containers

• dev.orbstack.domains: A comma-separated list of custom domains for the container.
• dev.orbstack.http-port: The port serving plain HTTP, used to pick which port domains and automatic HTTPS connect to.
• dev.orbstack.https-port: The port serving HTTPS.
• dev.orbstack.icon: A URL for a custom icon for the container. For security, only https URLs are allowed.
• dev.orbstack.add-ca-certificates: Set to false to stop OrbStack from adding its domain certificates to the container.

Compose projects

• dev.orbstack.compose-icon: A URL for a custom icon for the project. Set it on any service in the project. For security, only https URLs are allowed.

Volumes

• dev.orbstack.icon: A URL for a custom icon for the volume. For security, only https URLs are allowed.
